Gutter Installation

Qualified candidates must have the following experience:

Moriarty's Roofing, Inc. is looking for a candidate with at least 3 years’ experience with gutter installation and sheet metal fabrication. Lead position requiring complete experience with all facets of sheet metal work (fabrication, installation, gutters, metal roofs, etc.).

Our shop is equipped with a wide range for tools, drills, cold saw, bandsaw, grinders, shears, tube benders, sheet metal rollers, forklifts, finishing all in house etc.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Perform accurate layout of plates, holes, bends, etc.

- Skilled in the use of layout tools like scribes, squares, tapes, protractors, levels, etc.

- A Fabricator needs to be able to meet welding standards, and must know how to set up the machine, diagnose problems, and make high quality welds.

- Mechanically inclined / works well with hands – a must.

- Able to lift 50 lbs.

- Detail oriented / able to follow instructions / works well in a Team.

- Be able to keep the shop safe and productive.

- Willingness to learn / self-motivated / ability to take on a variety of tasks.

- Our shop produces and utilizes new techniques to produce unique products every day

- Plan and sequence work with the shop manager

- Consistently be able to make high quality products

-Must be able to work solo

- English speaking (Spanish speaking a plus)

Must have own vehicle during the trial period

Must have own smartphone for communication with office staff

Valid CA Driver's License a MUST NO points

Mon thru Friday 7:30am-4pm with a few possible weekends.
