Video Production Assistant - Lights, Camera, HUSTLE! (New York City)

Time Capsules Production is a dynamic and growing video production company based in the heart of New York City. We create high-quality content for a diverse range of clients, from commercials and corporate videos to documentaries and independent films. We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Video Production Assistant to join our team and contribute to exciting projects. About the Role:

As a Video Production Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our production process, providing support to the team from pre-production to post-production. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Production:

Assisting with location scouting and research.

Organizing and managing production equipment.

Creating and distributing call sheets and other production documents.

Coordinating schedules and travel arrangements for crew and talent.

Assisting with casting calls and talent coordination.

Production:

Providing on-set support, including equipment setup and breakdown.

Assisting with lighting, sound, and camera operations.

Managing releases and other paperwork.

Running errands and handling miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Maintaining a positive and professional attitude on set.

Post-Production:

Assisting with video editing and file management.

Transcribing interviews and other audio.

Preparing footage for review and distribution.

Organizing and archiving project files.

Qualifications:

Passion for filmmaking and storytelling.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication1 and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with basic computer software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).

Familiarity with video production equipment is a plus.

Film school or related experience is a plus, but not required. We value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
