About the Positions:

Seattle Center is hiring a Laborer to assist with maintenance and cleaning at McCaw Hall, working both indoors and outdoors based on event schedules. In Bellevue, a Landscaper/Cleaner is needed to maintain residential properties, including landscaping, cleaning vacant units, and assisting with basic repairs. Both roles require physical labor, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping spaces clean and well-maintained.

1. General Laborer

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of the building perimeter, facility interior, and restrooms; remove trash and assist with furniture and flooring setup, sometimes lifting over 50 lbs.

Provide cleaning and support services for patrons and clients during events.

Handle event setups and teardowns at McCaw Hall, working before and during major performances and events.

Operate small motorized vehicles, including pick-up trucks, as needed.

During slower event periods, assist with general labor tasks across the Seattle Center campus.

2. Cleaner

Responsibilities:

Maintain residential grounds by mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting vegetation.

Clean and prepare vacant housing units, including sweeping, washing, and disinfecting surfaces.

Operate and maintain landscaping tools, power equipment, and vehicles safely.

Complete reports, work orders, and other required documentation.

Follow safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment.
