Amazing 18 Unit Building in Silver Lake

We are looking for a dynamic couple to manage our beautiful vintage building in Silver Lake. Amazing location. Our ideal candidates have great people and organizational skills and are not afraid to get their hands dirty! They take true ownership and pride in where they live. They dedicate themselves to making sure their building looks its best. One of the 2 ideally works from home, is computer savvy and has customer service, retail or sales experience; the other is handy and can perform small fixes throughout. The property does have a weekly maintenance person.

ABOUT THE BUILDING:

Beautiful hillside building in prime residential Silver Lake

- Mix of 1 bedroom and 2-bedroom units

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

-Helping advertise units and showing any vacant units

- Handling move-in and move-out inspections

- Overseeing all maintenance / vendor work and unit turnover to make units are ready at move in

- Handling calls and emails from prospective tenants and residents in a timely manner

- Helping to process rental applications

- Collecting rents

- Serving notices to tenants

- Handling resident maintenance requests and scheduling vendors

- Ensuring the building cleanliness and curb appeal is maintained daily

- Appfolio Property Management software experience preferred but not required

REQUIREMENTS:

- CLEAN credit history (no evictions or bankruptcies). Clean background; a background check is required.

- Applicants must have a vehicle as some light driving is required (e.g., pick up supplies, mail notices at the post office, etc.).

- Must be proficient with email, internet, texting

- Must have car insurance

- Must have, computer/laptop, printer/scanner, & a smart phone

Compensation as a Part-Time Position is highly reduced rent on a 1-bedroom Apartment
