Apprentice and Journeyman Electrician

Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities:

Assist journeyman electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.

Learn and apply electrical codes and best practices.

Troubleshoot electrical issues under supervision.

Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Complete required coursework and on-the-job training for electrical certification.

Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities:

Independently install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes.

Ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism on job sites.

Qualifications:

Apprentice: Enrollment in or willingness to enter an electrical apprenticeship program.

Journeyman: Valid California journeyman electrician certification.

Additional Qualifications

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
