Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete for various construction projects, including sidewalks, driveways, curbs, foundations, and other structures. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with concrete, be detail-oriented, and able to work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Set forms, prepare surfaces, and ensure proper concrete placement.
Smooth, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools such as floats, trowels, and screeds.
Apply finishing techniques, including edging, brooming, and stamping as needed.
Monitor curing process to prevent defects like cracking or scaling.
Read blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution.
Operate and maintain concrete tools and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Work efficiently as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Perform basic repairs and patching of concrete surfaces when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Concrete Finisher or related role.
Knowledge: Understanding of concrete properties, mix designs, and finishing techniques.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work with hand and power tools, and knowledge of finishing methods.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, kneel, bend, and work in various weather conditions.
Certifications (Preferred): OSHA 10/30, ACI Concrete Certification, or other relevant training.
License: Valid driver’s license preferred.
Work Environment:
Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Physically demanding role requiring lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
