Job title: Line Cook
A prominent private social and dining club is currently seeking qualified Line Cook for Full Time and Part Time pm schedule.
Applicants must possess experience in high-end catering and a la carte service, preferably having at least 2-3 years’ experience in a high-volume kitchen.
Requirements and Expectations:
At least 2-3 years’ experience in high-volume hot line
Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line
Banquet experience A+
Cooking and preparing all menu items following standards set by the Chef
Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Good organizational skills & a positive attitude
Ability to take direction during service
Valid food handlers permit A+
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Repetitive hand use and firm grasping is required.
