Mailroom Clerk
The Mail Clerk is responsible for receiving, sorting and delivering incoming mail and packages to our clients.
Essential Functions:
· Receive, sort, process and deliver mail and packages in a timely manner.
· Place mail and packages in proper bins for distribution.
· Complete “return to sender” process for mail and packages not delivered following company protocols.
· Sort and deliver packages to Smart Lockers.
· Reclaim packages from lockers following company protocols.
· Ensure the package center is adequately stocked, clean and organized.
· Ensure packages received match the manifest of packages delivered by the carriers.
· Report any discrepancy to the lead or supervisor.
· Separate temperature control packages from the rest and inform the lead or supervisor as soon as the package arrived.
· Answer phone calls at the center and refer any calls that need further assistance to the lead or supervisor.
· Other responsibilities to be determined.
Qualifications:
· 1 years of work-related experience.
· Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Knowledge of SendSuite, Pitney Bowes (preferred but not required).
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Excellent attendance and punctuality.
· Excellent verbal and written communication.
· Attention to details.
· Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to produce results under pressure.
· Valid driver’s license. With clean MVR
· Customer service oriented.
· Responsible to work independently but also a good working and collaborating with others.
· Available to stay for OT after the center close to finish processing all packages received during the day.
· Available to work weekends when needed.
