JOB DESCRIPTION: MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE

in the landscaping or irrigation trade and have experience driving truck and trailers, operating skid steers, mini excavators and other smaller equipment. Meet with managers and other team leaders daily and then line out team for the day’s goals. See the big picture of the company’s goals and jobsite specific goals to direct safe and efficient loading and travel to jobsites and line out team for safe, efficient and high-quality landscaping. Teach team members where needed, work side by side with team and help them to stay on task and schedule. Check in with Operations Manager every afternoon to share need of resources so that mornings can be efficient. Filling out DAILY JOB TRACKING SHEETS thoroughly and accurately with vendor receipts attached and turning into appropriate place DAILY. Projects may include existing landscape tear out, site grading, hauling materials, installation of patios, walls, walkways, irrigation, landscape lighting, edging, trees, shrubs, plants, gardens, landscape fabric, mulch, sod, seed, hydroseed and more. Clear, concise and effective communication with owner, managers, designers, customers, general contractors, home owners, other tradespeople, vendors and team members are a constant part of this job. Time and schedule and budget management are critical in this job.

REQUIREMENTS:

Landscape Install Team Leader / Foreman MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE in the landscaping or irrigation trade and have experience driving truck and trailers, operating skid steers, mini excavators and other smaller equipment. Must possess Leadership Qualities: take ownership of projects, lead by example working side by side with team in the field, must be emotionally intelligent, show kindness, learn and grow, build team and company morale, ensure quality, act motivated, clearly communicate, demonstrate professional demeaner and appearance, and have strong organizational, documentation and management skills. Must have a good team member attitude. Must have an insurable Driver License. Must show up consistently and on time. Must be physically able to work for long hours on feet and lift <>50lbs. while working in the elements. Must be flexible with work schedule, project demands and work as needed to meet deadlines. Horticultural or Landscape education and local (Bozeman / Big Sky / Paradise Valley) market experience highly preferred but not required.

PAY:

$28 to $40 / hour + Benefits DOE: Solstice Landscaping offers a generous compensation and benefits package for the right individuals. The full benefit package and annual salary require to join the On-Call Snow Team in non-landscaping months and generally 5 day work weeks in landscaping months.
