R&B Services, LLC, a small, family-owned, veteran-owned excavation company in Sanbornton, NH, is seeking an Experienced Equipment Operator to join our growing team. If you have a strong work ethic, experience operating heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you!
Position Overview:
The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to perform excavation, grading, trenching, pipe and utility installation. This role requires experience, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation – Safely and efficiently operate excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, backhoes, and rollers.
- Site Preparation – Perform grading, trenching, and excavation work per project specifications.
- Safety & Compliance – Follow all OSHA, company, and job site safety protocols.
- Machine Maintenance – Conduct daily inspections, routine maintenance, and report issues.
- Understanding of Grades & Elevations – Ensure accuracy in site prep, trenching, and backfilling.
- Team Coordination – Work closely with foremen, laborers, and truck drivers to complete projects efficiently.
- Problem-Solving – Identify and resolve issues to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
Proven Experience – Multiple years operating excavation equipment.
Knowledge of Job Site Safety – Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
Reading Plans & Grades – Ability to interpret site plans and grade stakes.
Strong Work Ethic – Dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
Valid Driver’s License – Clean driving record required; CDL a plus but not necessary.
