Experienced Line Cooks and Servers

Upper west side restaurant Now Hiring.

1 year old restaurant located on the Upper West side is Hiring Line cooks And Servers.

Known for serving creative and classic food dishes, as well as crafted and classic cocktails, we are looking for seriously experienced, passionate and dedicated new team members.

Required Skills and qualifications:

-3+ Years of working on the line in high volume restaurants.

-Understanding of stations set up and Breakdown.

-Run a station through service, executing ingredients and components to a high standard.

-Good knife Skills

-Able to follow recipes as well as take direction.

-Responsible for correct product storage, as well as l labeling and dating procedures.

-Ability to follow and uphold cleanliness in the kitchen and on the line.

-Open availability( weekends, nights and holidays)

-Ability to perform physical requirements of position that includes, standing and walking for periods of times, bending, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs.

-Good speed, and organizational skills

-On time for work, positive attitude towards staff and customers.

SERVERS- Job Requirements:

-Two years experience in reputable restaurant in a high market

-Menu knowledge of food and beverages

-High level of Genuine Hospitality

-Making sure food is served in a timely manner

-Proficiency in POS

Experience( toast, breadcrumbs, aloha, etc)

-Basic Bartending skills

-Settling payment transactions

-Coursing menu items

-Setting and clearing tables as a part of the team

-Serving water and crudités to all tables

-Replenish table supplies, roll ups,

Etc.

-Promptness, and a positive attitude towards co workers and customers

We are looking for servers who are team players with strong food, wine and service knowledge.
