Ecommerce Specialist
ECOMMERCE SPECIALIST
Job Purpose Summary:
The Ecommerce Specialist focuses on updating and maintaining the backend
infrastructure of our website; adds new products for wholesale, retail, and subscription
customers; uploads all new assets on our website; provides technical support to other
departments; provides customer service related to subscriptions and missing orders;
and responds to website reviews.
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Status: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Platform Maintenance
Adds new products for retail, wholesale, and subscription customers
Ensures UPC codes, prices, and quantities are input accurately and on time
Uploads high-quality product images for new releases
Updates product descriptions and attributes/tags
Has a comprehensive understanding of the interconnectivity of all our platforms
and integrations
Ecommerce Marketing
Assists Ecommerce Manager and/or Director of Marketing with generating
campaign content
Manages image and brand asset library in Klaviyo
Opportunity for copywriting on an as-needed basis
Customer Service
Responds to website customer feedback and requests
Adjusts subscriptions in collaboration with Accounts Manager
Resolves issues with missing orders
Monitors and responds to website reviews
Technical Support
Troubleshoots platform issues with team members; coordinates with third-party
vendors when necessary
Ability to assist other departments with any technical assistance needs
Job Requirements:
Part-Time: 20 hours/week (average)
Full-Time: 36-40 hours/week
1-2 year(s) of ecommerce or marketing experience preferred
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once
Creative mindset
Superb communication and interpersonal skills
A valid NC Driver’s license.
Criminal background check as required by JVG’s institutional partners
