PART-TIME ACCOUNTING OFFICE ASSISTANT
We are currently hiring a part-time office assistant for our local accounting firm located in West Columbia (Hwy 378). The hours will be 9AM - 3 PM Monday - Thursday (approximately 24 hours per week) . Great opportunity for someone seeking part-time work in an office environment.
Duties:
- Filing documents and records. Boxing up old documents to storage.
- Data entry of basic information into spreadsheets and templates for current and previous clients.
- Some client interaction is required: Taking payments. Help answer phones and contact clients to let them know their taxes are complete.
Qualifications:
- Because we deal with sensitive information and finances a criminal background check is required.
- We prefer an individual with previous office experience. Accounting is a plus!
- Must have good computer and data entry ability.
- Must be able to present a professional appearance (business casual) with a professional and pleasant phone voice and demeanor.
We are looking for a part-time person that can work long term, so candidates seeking full-time work should not apply.
