Automotive Service Adviser
California, San diego , 92101 San diego USA

I am looking for a new service adviser. So, if you have great customer service skills, can adapt to new situations quickly and are able to multi task, you should keep reading on.

My position will be an entry level position for many people. Writing automotive service orders is not my primary need. Being able to recognize some of the words that auto techs and parts suppliers use is helpful, but learnable. Communication skills, learn our computers systems and adapt well with changing situations are what I am looking for.

The pay starts at more than the wage for flipping burgers, but also needs and deserves much more attention to the tasks at hand. You will be taught how to interpret what the tech is saying the vehicle’s needs are, building the estimate with parts included and ordering those parts from different suppliers is the one of the cores of the job. Calling the customer and selling the work is extremely important and requires a fair amount of finesse.

We have many of the usual benefits that we can discuss as we get to chat. It is a Monday through Friday job. It pays hourly with overtime. My ops manager tells me I am too good to my employees, but what does he know? Getting to know the basics and foundations of the job are the key points. The sales side of the job will come with time. We try very hard to educate our customers so that they can decide whether or not to do a given service or repair. We do not try to oversell or use pressure to bring about a sale.

Please send your resume to this ad, or text me. Please don't just call or stop by. WWe are a busy shop and really won't have time to say much.
