Shop Worker (Countertop Shop)

American Marble, a well-established natural stone, quartz, and solid surface manufacturing company, has been a leader in Southern California for over 35 years. We specialize in high-end commercial and residential projects, offering top-tier fabrication and installation services. We're looking for a motivated Shop Worker who is dedicated to maintaining our high standards of quality and craftsmanship to join our team.

Essential Functions:

Material handling - transports countertop material within the shop.

Prepares material for cutting.

Prepares material for pickup prior to installation.

Ensures proper tools and equipment are available for cutting in the shop.

May operate hand and power tools to assist with the manufacturing of countertops.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to follow directions from supervisors and senior shop workers.

Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Dependable with strong work ethic.

Ability to lift and carry in excess of 75 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Team player, positive, enthusiastic and motivated self-starter.

Salary and Benefits Package:

DOE – Depending on Experience

Full-time, non-exempt

Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift
