Service Writer/ Advisor – B Tech Qualities

Are you a customer-focused professional with a passion for the automotive industry? Our independent auto repair shop is looking for a Service Writer (with B Tech experience a plus) to join our team! Responsibilities:

✅ Greet customers and assess their service/repair needs

✅ Write and explain repair estimates clearly

✅ Communicate between customers and technicians

✅ Assist with workflow racking and oil changes

✅ Seek out new customers and build relationships

✅ Schedule appointments and manage shop workflow

✅ Handle invoices, payments, and warranty claims

✅ Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

️ Experience in the automotive industry (preferred but not required)

️ Strong customer service and sales skills

️ Ability to multitask in a busy shop environment

️ Knowledge of repair estimates and service terminology

️ Proficiency with shop management software Mitchell Systems (a plus) or willingness to learn

️ B Tech qualities a plus

️ Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Current DL a Must

Knowledge Mitchell Systems a plus
