Surgical Assistant (Train on the Job)

The job consists of assisting the doctor in surgery, giving post-operative instructions to the patient, setting up and breakdown of surgical instruments, autoclaving instruments, taking X-rays, doing consults with patients, and taking vital signs. Eventually would be cross trained to answer the phone schedule patients and prepare charts for the following day.

Requirements:

- Must have a car

- Must have computer skills

- Good manual and mental dexterity

- Able to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays 8 AM - 4 PM with Thursdays being half a day. No nights, no weekends.

- Education: High School Diploma (College Degree a plus)
