The Business Center Agent is responsible for assisting customers with various business center services, including photocopying, printing, computer workstation/internet access, fax services, and shipping via FedEx and UPS. This role also involves managing mailroom operations, handling financial transactions, and providing administrative support as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist customers with business center services such as photocopying, printing, faxing, computer workstation access, and internet use.

Facilitate shipping services, including FedEx and UPS, and execute rental orders as required.

Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and room charge account transactions.

Ensure accurate end-of-day cash reconciliation and reporting.

Serve as the first point of contact for all Convention and Event rental order service calls, providing some service and technical support.

Resolve customer issues promptly and provide creative solutions to meet their needs.

Multi-task efficiently, assisting multiple customers simultaneously.

Provide administrative support as needed.

Mail Room Operations:

Receive and distribute incoming mail

Sort and distribute incoming mail to designated department mail slots.

Set aside boxes and notify respective departments for pickup.

Verify and log incoming guest packages, including package details, guest name, and room number, before placing them in the business center for pickup.

Manage outgoing shipments from the business center and ensure they are delivered to the mailroom for carrier pickup.

Maintain and manage outgoing USPS mail, including handling postage and stamps.

Perform additional mail-related duties as assigned.

Performance Skills Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 5 pounds frequently.

Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Ability to reach outward, handle and finger objects, walk, and type constantly.

Ability to twist, turn, and sit frequently.

Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder level, and stand occasionally.

Qualifications:

Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience preferred.

Must be dependable and willing to undergo training.
