Lead a small team as they load food provisions on to ships on a government facility. Great chance to support the military as part of your day to day.Position Purpose:To provide services to VersAbility customers including those under a government contract inaccordance with the Statement of Work incorporated into the contract. This position will have the responsibility ofperforming duties and, in the absence of the Contract Manager, supervising employees throughout the shift. Thisposition will receive guidance and direction from the Manager- Government ContractsPrimary Responsibilities: Responsible for operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner Responsible for maintaining quality standards as determined by the Government Quality Assurance Evaluatorand/or other people who are responsible for quality assurance Responsible for maintaining a safe work area Responsible for promoting and maintaining positive lines of communication with customers while performingtheir job duties Responsible for providing quality customer service Responsible for cleaning the equipment as instructed by the Manager- Government Contracts Responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures as set forth by VersAbility Resources and the U.S.Government Assist Contracts Manager in the supervision of employees Ensures the Statement of Work is met satisfactory, per the Government standards (set forth in the Statement ofWork) Responsible for communicating effectively, both written and orally Assists Manager- Government Contracts in scheduling work assignments per the Statement of Work May require the ability to drive a vehicle periodically Other duties as assignedQualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience: Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferredValid Driver’s License is RequiredSecurity: Ability to pass a military background screen to obtain base access required.Skills Knowledge & Abilities: Knowledge of the operating procedures involved in the use of appropriate equipment and its related functions,including the cleaning process for the equipment Ability to perform multiple tasks independently in an unsupervised location Ability to work standing and walking for prolonged periods of time Ability to acquire and maintain a valid driver’s license Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs. independentlyCompetencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies toperform the essential functions of this position.Oral Communication: Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain harmonious relationships with customers and coworkers, in person and over the phone.Customer Focus: Knowing the (internal and external) customer business needs and acting; accordingly, anticipatingcustomer needs, and giving high priority to customer satisfaction and customer service.Teamwork: Working as a productive member of a cohesive group toward a common goal and contributing to teamdevelopment and effective team dynamics.Attention to Detail: Taking responsibility for a thorough and detailed method of working.Accountability: Accepting responsibility that results in anticipation/prevention of problem areas from actions, andproblem solving inside and outside the department/organization.Collaboration: Develops cooperation and teamwork while participating in a group, working toward solutions whichgenerally benefit all involved parties.Initiative: Does more than is required or expected in the job.
