PDM Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Lead Analyst professionals will support/coach/advise our Client's Project IT Team with tasks throughout the implementation cycle - Design/Workflows, System Build, Testing, Upgrades, and Activation while minimizing extensive travel. This unique opportunity provides you with a full career path within the firm.Work you'll do/Responsibilities Provides expertise to support customer design sessions and requirements development, executes build and configuration tasks, conducts testing (including Unit, System, and Integrated tasks) across environments, and supports activation activities for implementation of Epic Ambulatory / Outpatient applications.Provides application subject matter advice and supports issues resolution throughout the implementation life cycle, including post-live stabilization support.Under direction of the Applications Manager, the Application Analyst I/II is a specialist in their respective Epic Application(s) and supports core functions of the health system's processesResponsible for Epic software analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation as well as application support and issue resolutionInteracts with Operational and IT personnel in identifying, evaluating and configuring systems to meet user and organizational requirementsMaintains high credibility and ownership of system activities within assigned applicationWorks directly with Operations and provides input on system design and capabilitiesDevelops system design, including functional specifications and strategies, based upon the analysis of specific operational needsAnalyze operational requirements and system capabilities to propose effective solutionsUnderstand workflow practices and how to apply to system configuration in support of Operational/IT strategies, issues, and prioritiesPerforms unit, system, and integration testing per standards and documents outcomesWork with Application Team to ensure applications are well supported and implementations are properly executedFollow defined standards, promote best practice principles, and participate in change control processOptimizes, maintains and supports application/system as requiredParticipates effectively as a team member to achieve team goals and objectivesProvides on-call support, troubleshoots and resolves production support issues during Activation as applicableInitiates escalation proceduresIdentify potential issues and refer more complex issues to appropriate level of supportBuilds rapport and always promotes teamwork by maintaining a professional and positive attitude, working to maintain open and professional lines of communication with all end users and colleagues, and utilizing key change management principlesThe Team Operations and Technology Transformation (OTT) delivers market leading expertise and industry depth by harnessing deep sector knowledge, scaling the power of hybrid services and products, and unlocking the power of Process Bionics to deliver sustainable and impactful solutions to our clients. Current Epic Hospital Billing / Claims certification and hands on build expertise

Full implementation lifecycle experience (2 or more implementations), including design support, build, systems and integrated testing, as well as post-live issues resolution

Experience serving as a Lead Analyst and mentoring junior team members

Demonstrated ability to conduct build independently and to operate effectively in a remote role on blended onshore / offshore build teams

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Science, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 years

Preferred

Epic Professional Billing Certification preferred

Application maintenance / managed services experience, including incident management, upgrades, and enhancements

Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulations that impact hospitals and clinics

Basic knowledge of messaging formats used in healthcare integration (HL7, FHIR, EDI, CSV, XML, etc.).

Experience with healthcare/clinical data domains and concepts.

Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Experience with Business concepts, processes, information, and data.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to story tell.

Ability to travel for on-site working sessions as necessary based on client needs
