Personal Assistant/Driver for Low Vision Woman

I'm putting this ad in for my friend, I'll answer initial questions then pass on phone numbers to her. This is a temporary job while her permanent caregiver takes 3 weeks off, we just don't have solid dates on when this is (could be in March, could be after, but we need to line someone up now because the background process can take a few weeks to come back). It could continue as a back up caregiver after the 3 weeks. So you need to basically be someone with flexible/open time, like a Uber/Door Dash driver or work at home in your own hours or a homemaker or student, that type of thing, but must be available M-F because for her dr appts she has to take what is given and they are scheduled a month in advance. So each week will be planned out, it's not last minute types of things.

The official title is Caregiver, but the role is mostly driving her to Dr appointments and grocery shopping. She has low vision due to type 1 diabetes, she can still see a little. 20-35 hours, $15.28/hr, plus there is a separate process to sign up for gas credits if you'd like.

Must have a running car with insurance. Must pass background check which includes fingerprints. Must have flexibility with your time, must be punctual and reliable, some appts are early, before 8am (she needs to get to dr appts on time, grocery days are more flexible). When she grocery shops, you can shop too, just check in with her to see if she needs help finding something. She doesn't need to be physically helped, but needs to be accompanied through parking lots. She has certain stores she knows the layout so she likes to stick to those.

Bonus would be someone willing to take her and her two dogs to a dog park as she's no longer able to take them out for walks in her neighborhood due to her declining vision. This is something she used to do with them that she misses.
