Horizontal Directional Driller Locator- Telecommunication Construction

GAC Enterprises, LLC, a leading telecommunication construction company based in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Horizontal Directional Driller Locator to join our Albuquerque, New Mexico team. As a Horizontal Directional Driller Locator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used for underground utility installation, including locating and drilling horizontal bores.

Key Responsibilities:

-Set up and conduct drilling operations according to project plans and specifications

-Locate existing utilities using electronic equipment and mark their locations

-Navigate and drill bores according to predetermined paths

-Install conduit, pipe, and cables underground

-Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

-Prior experience operating directional drilling equipment and locating utilities

-Strong knowledge of underground construction practices and techniques

-Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings

-Knowledge of utility locating equipment and techniques

-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

-Ability to work independently and in a team

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
