As ourFacilities Maintenance Painter,you willplay a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and structural integrity of our facilities.Your primary responsibility will be applying paint, enamel, and other coatings to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality, professional finish. Beyond painting, you will be responsible for repairing walls, rails, and surfaces, covering graffiti, and performing light handyman tasks.

You will be the go-to expert for painting projects while also supporting a variety of maintenance and renovation tasks to keep ourfacilitylookingitsbest. DAY-TO-DAY:

Patches and prepares all surfaces for paint, including sheet rock; apply drywall finish as required; mask and prepare walls, ceilings and other surfaces for painting or repairs.

Repair and paint walls, doors, and ceilings; apply paint using roller, hand brush or other equipment on all types of furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, etc.

Conduct maintenance painting due to general deterioration.

Responsible for event special projects i.e., Paint rails, touch ups, last minutes requests.

Maintains a consistent awareness of safety and accident prevention; advises management of unusual/unsafe conditions on properties.

Review and respond timely to e-mail, and work order requests, filling out logbooks; advise Maintenance Supervisor of all work orders and/or projects currently being worked on, the scheduling of projects, and materials needed for such projects.

Ensure that all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat and orderlyat all times.

Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods.

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

Proven experience in commercial painting, including interior and exterior surfaces.

Strong skills in surface preparation, drywall repair, masking, and finishing techniques.

Ability to apply paint using rollers, brushes, and other equipment with precision and efficiency.

Knowledge of general maintenance and repair tasks, including minor carpentry, tile work, and refinishing.

A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring high-quality results.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

A commitment to safety and an awareness of accident prevention practices.

The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and respond to urgent maintenance needs.

Basic computer skills to review emails, update work orders, and log project details.

The flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to meet business demands.

WE’D BE THRILLED IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

Familiarity with working in commercial environments such ashospitals, retail, or large venues.

Experience handling event-specific painting and touch-up requests on short notice.

Certifications or experience operating aerial lifts, forklifts, or other heavy equipment.

OSHA certification or other safety training relevant to the role.
