Seeking Compassionate Companion for Wonderful 84-Year-Old Mom in Mount Pleasant

We're looking for a caring individual to spend 3-4 hour blocks with my mom at South Bay assisted living during afternoons or early evenings (timing flexible). The ideal person would have a warm personality and understanding of early-stage memory care needs, while enjoying connecting with seniors.

Activities would include:

⁠ ⁠Taking regular wheelchair walks outside - this is especially important as physical activity and fresh air are vital to her wellbeing

⁠ ⁠Light organizing tasks such as putting away folded laundry and keeping her closet tidy

⁠ ⁠Providing gentle support during the transition from dinner to evening activities

⁠ ⁠Engaging in enjoyable activities before bedtime (reading, card games, conversation)

We're hoping to find someone who:

⁠ ⁠Has experience with seniors, including those with early memory care needs

⁠ ⁠Is comfortable with wheelchair assistance

⁠ ⁠Is reliable, patient, and consistently encouraging

⁠ ⁠Can provide references

My mom is a delightful person who would truly appreciate having a friendly companion to brighten her day. We're especially focused on maintaining her daily walks and providing consistent, caring support during evening transitions.
