Seeking Compassionate Male Caregiver for a Professional adult man

About the Role:

I’m seeking a dedicated male caregiver to join my vibrant household in downtown Renton on Wednesdays and Sundays or another mutually agreed upon schedule. My home is a lively, pet-friendly space where respect, humor, and camaraderie are at the heart of everything we do.

As a 39 year old, educated, full-time professional working in government, I offer a supportive environment where your contributions will be valued and where your reliable and trusted support will be essential in helping me to thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting with daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, hygiene, light housekeeping and other busy work, with a focus on respect and sensitivity.

Engaging in personal care tasks with understanding, including incontinence care.

Embracing a home full of pets, including dogs who may bark, so comfort with animals is essential.

Who You Are:

A male caregiver with experience or a student in a caregiving field, looking for a meaningful part-time role.

Reliable and punctual, valuing a respectful and empathetic atmosphere.

A person with a reliable ability to get yourself to and from the work site with low absenteeism as the work you perform for me is essential for my well being.

Someone who understands that I view your role not as someone here to treat me as a patient, I have doctors for that, but rather co-create an environment where I can thrive as I define that.

Comfortable using critical thinking and communication skills to accomplish tasks in both an independent and collaborative manner.

What to Expect:

The position involves 3-5 hours per day, with payment after each session.

I’ll be collecting applications over time and will review them carefully before reaching out to discuss further.

An interview process will likely follow with candidates who advance. This will likely be a low pressure opportunity for me to buy you a cup of coffee and see how we jive together.
