The Artificial Insemination Specialist will play a vital role in the reproductive management of dairy herds served by Lakeshore Dairy Services. This position involves daily heat detection, precise identification of eligible cows for breeding, and the skilled execution of artificial insemination to optimize herd fertility and productivity. The AI Technician will work closely with dairy producers to ensure timely and effective breeding strategies that align with herd management goals.

Additionally, this role requires meticulous record-keeping and accurate data entry to track breeding activities, reproductive performance, and herd trends. The AI Technician will also work with emerging technologies in cow management, including activity monitors and herd management software, to enhance reproductive efficiency and decision-making. Utilizing these tools, the technician will help analyze cow behavior, detect heat events more accurately, and improve overall herd performance.
