Aircraft Fuel Technician- NorthStar Helicopters Summer '25

Assist in keeping daily summer operations flowing by fueling our fleet of aircraft.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Safely and efficiently fueling running and shutdown Helicopters on a busy ramp.

-Operating a fuel truck on an active airfield

-Refueling the truck throughout the day

-Basic maintenance and cleaning of the fuel truck

-Communicating professionally with pilots and dispatch via radio

Required Qualifications:

-Able to pass airport security screening and requirements to acquire a Juneau Airport Badge

-Valid driver's license and clean driving record

-Able to work independently, in conjunction with different departments of operations

-Able to work around loud noise and varied weather conditions

Desired Qualifications:

-Safety conscious with the ability to recognize and prevent potential safety hazards

-CDL preferred, but not required

-Some experience with helicopters or aviation

NorthStar’s season runs from late April through September. Employees may be asked to make a commitment for the length of time that they will be available. NorthStar employees may be subject to random and reasonable cause drug and alcohol testing.
