$20-$25/HR CNC Lathe Machine Setup Operator needed (RANCHO CUCAMONGA)

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machine Setup Operator to join our team and help ensure our machinery operates at peak performance while meeting company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, including Haas CNC Lathe TL-1, Hwacheon Lathe - Hi-ECO 21 HS, and Manual Cadillac Lathe.

Study blueprints and work orders to ensure proper setup sequence.

Select, place, and secure tools, workpieces, and fixtures.

Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as needed, and verify the use of proper measuring instruments (gauges, calipers, micrometers).

Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and refilling oil and coolant levels.

Operate conventional and CNC machinery to machine parts from materials such as aluminum, titanium, and hardened steels.

Deburr and perform finishing tasks on machined parts.

Maintain cleanliness and safety in the machine and work area.

Ensure close tolerance machine work is performed according to specifications.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical certification preferred.

At least 2-5 years of experience as a CNC operator or in a similar role.

Manufacturing experience required; Test Lab Machining experience is a plus.

Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Strong focus on quality and safety.

Preferred:

Experience in reading blueprints and using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Strong verbal and communication skills.

Shift: 2nd Shift: 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM, Monday – Friday. Overtime may be required.

Rate: $20.00-$25.00, based on experience.
