Café at The Woods is an integral part of a larger ecosystem that includes a premier dispensary and lounge in West Hollywood. By day, we offer expertly crafted coffee and tea, and by night, we transition to an elevated mocktail and tea service. Our space is designed to be both welcoming and upscale, blending refined service with a cozy atmosphere that epitomizes serenity.

As part of a dynamic hospitality experience, our baristas will occasionally float between roles to support the various needs of the space, ensuring seamless service across all areas. We are looking for passionate individuals who appreciate specialty beverages, exceptional service, and the opportunity to be part of a unique and evolving concept.

Location: West Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA

Starting Pay: $20/hour + tips

We are looking for hospitality-minded baristas with experience in specialty coffee to join our team. If you’re passionate about crafting high-quality drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming café environment, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks with precision and care

Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and build rapport with regulars

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow health & safety standards

Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Balance orders in the cafe with the needs of orders in the cannabis lounge next door

Fill in, run beverages to the cannabis lounge next door, and be flexible with the tasks as the needs of the business fluctuate with occupancy

Educate customers about our coffee, tea and mocktail offerings

Assist with opening and closing duties, inventory management, and restocking

Requirements:

3 years experience in a specialty coffee shop

Strong knowledge of coffee dial in, espresso preparation, and milk texturing

Excellent customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings

Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
