Lead Warehouse/Shipping Associate ASAP - Stable company, great team!

We're looking for multiple people with at least 2+ years experience as outlined below. Only qualified candidates will be considered so please respond only if you have relevant experience. Entry and mid level considered, but must be a hard-worker and team player.

Responsibilities include:

· Extensive and thorough cleaning of laboratory instruments

· Assisting with loading/unloading of deliveries

· Heavy lifting individually and in teams

· Packing premium laboratory equipment to prepare for shipping

· Assisting with construction of packing crates

· Occasional travel for pick up/delivery of equipment (company or 26ft rental truck provided)

· Forklift operation (will train and certify the right candidate)

· Schedule shipment of orders according to customer requirements (UPS/FEDEX/LTL/Route Trucks) in the time method requested (ground/2nd day/Next day) using both software systems and basic warehouse tools as needed. May include contacting engineering, sales, and trucking companies directly to coordinate.

· Work with Inventory manager to arrange warehouse to ensure efficient storage of inventory

· Other duties as assigned by management as needed

Requirements:

· Valid CT Driver’s license

· Reliable and self-motivated

· Must be able to work independently and in teams

· Computer knowledge and skills

Environment:

· Warehouse and loading dock are not climate controlled – hot in summer/cold in winter

· Closed shoes must be worn

· Safety rules must be strictly adhered to
