Hiring Preschool Teacher

BrightStar Christian Academy, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a fully-qualified Preschool Teacher for our licensed Preschool program, serving children aged 2 years through Kindergarten. Our school is known for its positive, family-like atmosphere for children and staff. We prioritize fostering a supportive and appreciative atmosphere where our team feels valued every day.

Position Qualifications:

Committed Christian with an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ

3+ years of experience as a Teacher in a Preschool environment

Minimum of 12+ ECE units or AA/Higher degree in ECE/CD or a related field – Teacher Permit from the CCTC is a plus

Experience with programs balancing play-based and academic curriculums is preferred

Familiarity with ECER’s Standards, DRDPs, and child development stages

Fluent in English

Familiarity with Outdoor Classroom, Zoo-phonics, and Handwriting Without Tears
