Baker / Prep Cook Wanted

Carp Kitchen and Grocery in Carpinteria is looking for a talented, passionate Baker / Prep Cook to join our small team.

Casual environment, opportunity to bring your creativity into our gourmet deli.

You need to have a good attitude/work ethic, be punctual, and demonstrate a passion for cooking.

YOU MUST HAVE A VERY STRONG PALATE AND STRONG ESTHETIC.

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods according to established recipes and standards

Responsible for monitoring inventory of baking ingredients and ensure availability for daily production

Collaborate with Head Chef to develop and refine recipes

Assist in kitchen with production as needed

Must have excellent knife skills

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Must have a current food handler's card
