As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings. You will lead other installers, ensuring work is performed to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead Installations: Oversee and participate in the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioners, duct work, and more
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor junior installers, providing guidance and direction as needed
Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and provide high-level customer service during and after installation
- Troubleshooting: Resolve installation issues efficiently and troubleshoot problems as they arise
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations are completed to code and meet company standards for safety and performance
- Inventory Management: Keep track of tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring that everything needed for the job is ready and available
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including time spent, materials used, and any issues encountered
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HVAC installation experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Licensing: EPA 608 Universal Certification
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and troubleshooting
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varied environments (attics, basements, rooftops)
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Background Check: Willingness to undergo a background check and driving record search
