Electrical Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and estimating, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and subcontractors. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate cost assessments and project planning, contributing to the overall success of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

-Remodeling kitchen/bathroom estimates for electric work.

-Work with interior designers for upcoming remodeling.

-Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.

-Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

-Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets and timelines.

-Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms.

-Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to maintain cost control.

-Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.

Experience:

Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.

Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.

Familiarity with project management methodologies is preferred.

Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Proficient in using estimating software and tools, particularly Bluebeam.

Knowledge of cost control measures and techniques within a construction environment is highly desirable.
