General Labor - Metal Fabrication

We are seeking General labor / Welder in steel fabrication and construction industry for long term full time position. Must be a team player, great communicator, multi-tasker, and mostly reliable with the desire to learn under a fast paced environment. Become a part of our team with our 67 years of experience in the steel industry. We provide stability and growth within our local company.

Hours of operation M-F 7am-330pm

Responsibilities:

-Assist welders, finishers, loading and off-loading of material

-Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks such as bending, stacking, punching

-Handle and transport materials (structural and plates) and equipment (drills and grinders)

-Clean up work areas and keep area tidy

-Punctuality and attendance

Qualifications:

-Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 lbs)

-Good hand and eye coordination

-Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus

-Commitment to safety rules as one of our priorities
