Accountant

Our client is seeking an Accountant for an excellent career opportunity at their corporate headquarters in Williamsville, NY. This client offers promotions based on productivity and hard work, and desires an individual dedicated to WNY.

Responsibilities:

Perform extensive financial analysis and assist in preparation of various corporate financial statements

Provide support for SEC filings

Account reconciliations, trend analysis, forecasting

Ad hoc projects will be assigned as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems

Public accounting experience desirable (3-5 years)

Graduate degree, CPA and/or CIA certification is preferred

Experience in financial analysis, consolidations & reporting

Exceptional analytical, communication and organization skills

Working knowledge of accounting/auditing practices, principles and procedures is required

Strong attention to detail is a must
