Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a full-stack developer who is deeply passionate about building great software. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working on both legacy and modern codebases, this role is for you.

About the Role

As a full-stack developer, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our web application. Your key responsibilities will include:

Working within legacy code to resolve bugs and improve the user experience. You’ll collaborate closely with customer support to identify and address application bugs.

Implementing updates such as refining UI elements

Building new features in the application.

Contributing to updates that bring the application in line with modern development standards.

Assisting in our efforts to meet industry-standard security compliance as we work with a third party to enhance our platform’s security posture. A background in web security would be a significant plus, as you may contribute to policy development and the implementation of security best practices.

Required Skills & Technologies

Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git (GitLab), AWS (CloudFront, S3, RDS, etc.), Tomcat, Docker, Jira

Experience with multiple programming languages and tech stacks, scaling, microservices, APIs (building and consuming) and mobile applications would be useful to the team in the long term.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of web security principles or experience in security compliance initiatives

Knowledge on ADA standards
