Work with Hot Air Balloons! Come Join Our Balloon Crew!
Are you a morning person and fan of sunrises? Come join our hot air balloon crew! Our crew has a great time working to set up, follow, and pack up hot air balloons each morning. We fly up to 4 balloons each morning just south of Wilsonville (Aurora Airport) and fly daily from mid March through September. It’s an early morning as we start about half hour before sunrise but are all finished by about 8:00-9:00 each morning. We're a family owned business and we’ve been flying for over twenty five years, flying thousands of passengers each year.
What does a balloon crew member do?
-Create a safe and enjoyable experience for passengers
-Help set up, inflate, and launch hot air balloons
-'Chase' the balloon while in flight and help coordinate the landing
-Assist and coordinating landing, deflation, and packing of the balloon
-Interact with passengers to ensure a great once-in-a-lifetime experience
Is joining the crew for me?
-We need individuals that are reliable and are ok to get up early in the morning (we meet as early as 5am)
-The entire flight experience takes about 3 hours, and we are all done by about 8-9am
-Be able to lift at least 50lbs and be fairly active, balloons are large and heavy aircraft
-Every day and flight is different, we are looking for dynamic, team oriented, & flexible individuals
-Willing to learn (we will train you how to work with the balloons, it’s a blast!)
-It’s a plus if you have experience driving a large van or trailer
