Sales Representative – Recycled Cycles and Fitness

We’re a family-owned shop that’s been helping our community find affordable new and used bikes for over 48 years. Our customers aren’t racing the Tour de France – they’re families riding to the park, students biking to class, and commuters making their way to work. No bike shop experience? No problem! We’re more interested in your personality than your cycling resume. If you enjoy chatting with customers, helping people find the right bike, and working in a fun, laid-back environment, we’d love to meet you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Help customers find their perfect ride! Whether its a commuter bike, a family cruiser, or an electric bike, you’ll listen to customers and guide them to the best fit for their lifestyle.

- Completes sales orders and processes paperwork, and make sure every customer leaves feeling excited and taken care of.

- Offer top notch customer service! – Greet every customer with a smile, answer questions with enthusiasm, and make sure every visitor has a great experience, whether they buy a bike that day or just stop in to browse.

- Help with test rides! – Make sure bikes are set up properly, ensure customers feel comfortable, and send them off for a spin with a little encouragement and a lot of excitement!

- Stay connected! Follow up with the interested customers through email, phone, messaging or even a friendly in person chat to help them make their final decision.

- Be a team player! Our shop thrives on teamwork, so bring a positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed. Whether its helping a coworker, tuning up a display bike, or just keeping the good vibes going, we all work together to make Recycled Cycles the best place to buy a bike!

- Keep the shop looking awesome! – Help keep bikes organized, restock accessories, and make sure displays are inviting and easy to shop. A well kept store makes for happy customers!

- Learn and share your knowledge – You don’t need to be a bike expert, but you will pick up useful product knowledge along the way to help customers understand their options and make informed decisions.

Skills and Requirements:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

- Must be able to work while standing for an entire shift and lift 50+ LBS within reasonable accommodation.

- Flexible hours are a must as this industry is constantly evolving and shifting.

- A drive to find customers exactly what they need, and to predict what they might need in the future.
