Channel Islands Surfboards Junior Accounting / Finance

This is a ‘Collections and Payables’ position geared for a junior financial analyst in the context of a small and unique workplace setting.

Primary duties will include but not be limited to accounts receivable collections, payment allocations, credit application review and investigations; and subsequent credit risk determinations (setting credit limits, security, etc.).

Daily duties will include invoicing, collections phone calls / e-mails, and bank transfers.

Relationship building with internal and external customers is a must.

Sales Department interface will also be functions of this role.

Applicants should possess solid verbal and written communication skills.

Applicants should work well in team settings and be open to collaboration.

Financial analysis is a must and applicants should be able to read financial statements.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheet creation and analysis.

A/R Collection (telephone / e-mail) is a central part of this role.

Surf knowledge helpful.
