Develop Actionable Insights: Leverage different analytical methodologies, frameworks, and technical approaches to improve our existing detection mechanisms and risk-scoring systems. Your work will directly drive greater efficiency and more accurate threat identification.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work alongside product, engineering, and technical marketing leaders to shape the strategy, influence product decisions, and drive execution. Your data-driven insights will inform and impact the product roadmap.

Design & Run Experiments: Design and implement experiments to optimize customer’s security posture. You'll ensure that we're always ahead of evolving threats and continuously improving our internal processes.

Automate Threat Detection Models: Develop methods and machine learning models to automate security detections and address new adversarial techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs).

Ad-Hoc Customer Support: Provide ad-hoc support by answering customer questions and actively participating in security incident analyses. Help customers understand and respond to security incidents, offering insights from your data-driven perspective.

Measure Success: Use forecasting and key product metrics to measure the success of our efforts. Track trends and identify areas for improvement in both the security domain and internal processes, ensuring we’re making an impact where it matters.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data science and/or data analytics with Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering or other technical field

3+ years of industry experience using big data query/processing languages such as SQL to transform/manipulate large datasets.

3+ years of industry experience in Security, Trust & Safety, Integrity, Fraud, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with tools like SageMaker, Snowflake and coding languages like Python or R

Experience leading and building project areas from scratch as an individual contributor

An advanced degree in a technical/STEM field of study.
