Fulfillment Associate - Home Based Warehouse

We are looking for an order Fulfillment Associate to join our small team. Strong communication skills are imperative, along with the ability to work independently and problem solve. We need someone with a strong sense of personal responsibility that will take pride in their job and ownership of their daily duties.

We are a small, home based e-commerce business operating out of a basement in Superior. Candidates must be comfortable working in someone’s home, in their designated work area.

Two employees will be hired and share weekly tasks. A typical work week will include:

Order picking, packing, and shipping of approximately 500 orders/week (current volume)

Packaging and labeling newly arrived inventory

Cleaning and organizing the warehouse area

Checking supply stock and notifying of shipping supplies needed

Assist with data entry of invoices and updating item pricing

Assist with customer service messages (all written, no phone)

Reconciling current inventory counts against our inventory software

Other miscellaneous tasks to keep operations running smoothly, the space organized, and supplies in stock.

Requirements:

No experience in inventory or e-commerce required

Basic PC skills including the ability to learn shipping software and use basic Excel

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Able to work on your feet for the duration of your shift

Attention to detail and quality control – be willing to check your own work as needed

Strong sense of personal responsibility to do things well

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and refer to the Operations Guide for basic questions

Ability to work with co-worker, communicate, and divide workload

Hours are 20 hours per week and open to either a 9am – 1pm or 10 am to 2 pm shift. No weekends and no evenings.

Pay: $19/hour

Candidates considered for the position will receive an offer for one paid probationary 3-day period for one-on-one training to decide if this job is a good fit for all parties.
