LINE COOK - SEASONAL - HOUSING - MARTHA'S VINEYARD

Chilmark Tavern, a well-established and very busy seasonal restaurant on Martha’s Vineyard is looking for line cooks for our 2025 season (early-May through early October). We are looking for candidates who are fun, hard-working, and great team players all around. We focus on cooking high quality, local-when-possible ingredients in an upscale casual setting.

HOT LINE COOK

We are looking for someone who has previous experience cooking on grill and/or sauté in high volume, high quality, fast paced kitchens. We are looking for cooks who love what they do, and who want to grow and learn. You must be able to keep calm in a stressful setting, keep organized, be able to be on your feet for long shifts, and not be afraid of hard work (and cleaning).

Three + years' experience cooking on grill or sauté in high volume/finer dining or upscale casual settings preferred but we are happy to train someone with some experience who has a great attitude and willingness to learn.

We are looking for someone who will be available full time for our full season (@May 10, 2025 - October 5, 2025).

This is a full time position.

Two days off per week!

Great base pay plus we collect a kitchen appreciation gratuity that is shared amongst BOH staff only.

Housing is available, nearby, for the right candidate(s).
