Cook
We are a local nonprofit looking for a compassionate and ambitious cook to prepare bulk meals in a fast-paced, busy environment, for those in need. While adhering to all health and safety rules in the kitchen and ensuring all food and other items are stored properly.
The ideal candidate has a servant's heart, works within the means of donations, and adheres to food safety standards.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Job Requirements:
- Team Player with good communication skills
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Endurance, as you are on your feet for long periods of day, and the ability to lift twenty-five pounds.
-Ability to put yourself aside to serve those forgotten by society.
- Valid Food Handler's Permit
- Food Manager Certification a plus
- Experience in food prep and kitchen management preferred
