Landscape Construction Crew Leader

We are seeking a skilled and reliable professional to join our landscape design and installation team. Our services include a comprehensive range of landscaping solutions, such as:

- Tree and Plant Installation

- Sod and Artificial Turf

- Gravel, Stone, and Boulder Placement

- Irrigation and Lighting Systems

- French Drain and Sump Pump Installation

- Hardscape Features including Pathways and Patios

- Tree Removal Services

- Storm Cleanup and More

Key Responsibilities:

- Work alongside and manage the crew to ensure high-quality workmanship

- Install landscape lighting, irrigation systems, and other key outdoor features with accuracy including testing/diagnosing defects

- Operate trucks and trailers for transportation of materials

- Operate large machinery, such as skid steers, to move materials and assist in landscape construction/cleanup

- Ability to diagnose small tool/machinery malfunctions and problem solve to avoid unnecessary down time on the job

- Coordinate material pickup and delivery

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

- Ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget

- Collaborate with the team to ensure project completion and client satisfaction

- Ensure safety and cleanliness on-site to maintain a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation is REQUIRED

- Proven experience in landscape construction with a strong understanding of the industry

- Ability to operate large and small machinery/equipment for grading, site and soil prep, demolition, etc.

- Experience in installing irrigation systems, landscape lighting, and hardscapes

- Strong work ethics and a commitment to excellence

- "Lead by example attitude": willingness to work alongside the crew with the ability to motivate the team

- Excellent communications and organizational skills

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding tasks

- Drug-free with a clean criminal record

- Proven work history with a resume
