PART TIME DELIVERY DRIVER/MAINTENANCE TECH

Bruce Olson Construction is currently looking for a Part Time Delivery Driver/Maintenance Tech for immediate hire. The ideal candidate will be dependable, and detail oriented with reliable transportation. The candidate must be able to be added to the company auto insurance policy, pass a drug and background check. Must have a DOT physical or be able to pass a DOT physical.

Our main office is in Verdi and we have multiple job locations around Lake Tahoe area. Responsibilities include driver/material handler/mechanic for our various projects.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Driving company provided vehicles/trailers

Coordinating & Performing deliveries with superintendents at various job sites.

Coordinating & Performing debris haul outs and material stocking with superintendents at various job sites.

Organizational skills, be able to clean up around the Verdi Storage Yard(moving things/relocating,etc).

Be able to keep track of all inventory (tools,equipment,etc).

Able to operate equipment (Bobcat,Mini Excavator,Telehandler,etc).

MechanicalSkills

Perform preventative and routine maintenance on both gas and propane forklifts, loaders, and other various equipment

Recognize, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical defects

Conduct safety inspections of equipment and maintain maintenance records

Perform duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations

Qualifications and Requirements:

Presentable appearance

Clean DMV driving record

Proficient at using email and text on a smart phone or tablet to keep records of daily deliveries and job site visits.

Good English speaking. Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.

Must possess good attitude and ability to interact professionally with all tradesmen from other companies, as well as possible

interaction with high-level clients.

Ability to lift, push and/or pull 50lbs throughout the workday.

Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, use hands for 8 hours, if required.

OSHA 10 required for permanent employment

Hours of Operation:

M-F- Part Time

Winter Hours 7:30AM - 4:00PM

Summer Hours 7:00AM - 3:30PM
