Event Technologies Inc. is looking for Audio/Visual Technicians and Sound Engineers tasked with the support, maintenance, and operation of small to large-scale audiovisual systems in a corporate environment, while ensuring the satisfaction of clients and their guests.

Job Responsibilities
Equipment Operation
Ensuring a successful event by provide accurate and efficient set up, operation and breakdown of audiovisual equipment.
Customer Service
It is essential to provide quality care to clients and their guests in a corporate environment while demonstrating the expected degree of professionalism. Being available to monitor events for their duration and being flexible to meet the client’s needs are key traits for employees.
Technical Ability
Technicians are expected to be knowledgeable in the technical details of an event, including the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve both equipment and software issues. Timely and professional resolution of any challenges presented during an event is a key factor to that event’s success.
Systems Knowledge
Understanding company processes and following procedures ensures the best chance of a flawless event. Making use of equipment pull sheets and maintaining an accurate calendar are required in order to ensure that there is no confusion, either in packing or scheduling for an event.

Prior experience with the following equipment is preferred:

Projector set up
Screen Assembly
Video switchers

Lighting
Up Lighting
Image Projection (GOBO)
Stage Wash / Lekos
DMX Addressing and controls
Basic dimming and lighting control
Computer
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Photoshop
Device Setup (Monitors, printers, etc.)
Wireless Networking
Rigging
Speaker and Lighting Stands
Ground Supported Equipment (Standing Truss Sections)
Banners and Signs
Required experience
High School Diploma is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ Years of experiences preferred, but willing to teach new graduates.
Valid driver’s license and reliable method of transportation is required
Additional Information
Must be able to work on ladders and lifts.
Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs.
Working times can include irregular and long hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must adhere to company dress code & grooming standards.
All applicants must either live in or plan to relocate to the greater Richmond area
