About the Department:

The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President oversees the university’s Digital Learning Initiatives and Continuing, Adult, and Professional Education (CAPE) programs. This department is dedicated to advancing online learning, supporting non-traditional education programs, and ensuring that students, faculty, and staff have access to innovative educational technology solutions. The team collaborates across the university to implement modern, scalable, and user-friendly systems that enhance learning experiences. What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Vice Provost for Digital Learning Initiatives, the Technical Product Manager will lead the planning, design, and development of software applications that support continuing education and digital learning initiatives. This includes managing Modern Campus, Life Long Learning, and Instructure Canvas while improving workflows, reporting, and system efficiencies. The role requires close collaboration with business leaders, IT teams, and campus stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions align with the university’s long-term goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive technical innovation in higher education and enhance digital learning platforms for students and faculty.

Required Qualifications:

Three (3) years of experience working with software applications in a technical or functional support role.

Proven ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Five or more years of experience in a technical or functional leadership role.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management of Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.

Agile Certification (e.g., Product Owner, Scrum Master or similar).

ITIL Certification.

Experience in an educational organization.

Familiarity with:

Student, program, and course management systems and workflows

Enterprise reporting tools (Argos, Cognos, Power BI)

Higher education technology and API development

ERP, CRM, CMS, and relational databases

Version control tools (Git) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Selenium, GitLab CI/CD)
