POSITION STARTS AS TEMPORARY FULL TIME WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF BECOMING PERMANENT FULL TIME AFTER PROBATIONARY PERIOD

COLORADO SPRINGS AIRPORT (COS) this is an ON SITE position only.

NextGen Deicing at our Colorado Springs Airport utilizes the latest proven aircraft deicing technology that focuses on both safety and environmental efficiencies. It strives to be innovative in its approach while ensuring that all treated aircraft take off safely.

NextGen Deicing has a fleet of Deicing Trucks that are equipped with the latest technology available to the industry.

NextGen Deicing is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their safety conscious and innovative deicing team!

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular maintenance on a variety of gas and diesel driven equipment.

Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner.

Maintain detailed records on all work performed.

Ensure the shop area is kept clean and free of hazards at all times.

Mechanic Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualifications.

Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

A minimum of 2 years experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment.

In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.

Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
