Hiring Fishmonger

McCall's Meat & Fish Co. is hiring for a full-time FISHMONGER to start ASAP.

Ideal candidate is someone who has worked extensively with seafood with proficient skills in breaking down whole fish, deboning filets, portioning fish, etc.

40 hours a week (Must be able to work weekends)

Ideal candidate:

- Has previous experience cutting meat

- 2+ years kitchen experience

- Willing to learn from our seasoned staff

- Works with a sense of urgency + attention to detail

- Able to hop up front to assist customers as needed

- Able to lift 50 pounds

- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- Is a team player with a positive attitude

- Has a CA Food Handler's Card or can have one by assigned start date

Job duties:

- Scaling, breaking down, deboning, and portioning fish

- Setting up and maintaining the fish case

- Helping fulfill and organize customer orders

- Assisting in cleaning and properly packaging fish and meat for storage

- Completing any task needed from the butcher staff or management
